The clinics are open to players 6-18 years of age and we encourage you to bring a friend. Equipment will be supplied for those who need it, but please come dressed for physical activity (i.e., running shoes and athletic wear). Prospective players will have the chance to learn the rules of the game and practice some of the foundational skills: throwing, catching, and swinging a bat. We welcome all returning players, but we really want them to introduce their friends to the game of softball.   Bring along a friend that was not registered with VMSA in 2024. Please be sure to register, as we will need your contact information to communicate the changes to the schedule.

The vision of VFA is to  create a supportive environment to learn and play softball while promoting the values of fair play and skill development.  We believe increasing participation in softball is extremely important for young women and girls and that providing access to softball provides athletes opportunities to develop: confidence; leadership; decision making; friendship; and other life skills. In support of our vision and our goal of increasing enrolment to over 500 players, we are offering this free, no-pressure, no-commitment, no-experience-required opportunity see if softball might be right for you. Check out our website for more information.
