Softball Gear Swap
As the season gets underway, how is all of your gear holding up? Need to clear out the storage space? Need a bigger size? Looking for a different colour? Switch positions? Whatever the reason, come check out the Gear Swap.VFA’s Gear Swap is just around the corner, on Sunday, May 4 between 8:30am and noon. After a successful swap last year, we’re bringing back this opportunity for experienced VFA families and players to give the gear they’ve outgrown a new home with younger players and new VFA families.
If you’re new to softball, or just looking to replace last year’s gear, stop by the Trafalgar Clubhouse on Sunday morning. Remember: you don’t need to bring anything to take something. We will be running the swap alongside Photo Day -- swing by before or after your team’s photo session!
Have something to add to the swap? Do you have softball gear that your player has outgrown or doesn’t use anymore? If you think another VFA family could use it, please drop it off in the box inside the gate at 5516 Laburnum on (or before!) Saturday, May 3. Or bring it to the swap, ideally between 8:00 and 8:30am to maximize families’ browsing opportunities.
